Ren'Py Rogue-like: Evolution

New version, so as per usual, do not download this if you just want to enjoy the game, I've likely missed some significant, game crashing bugs that could lead to a not-fun time. This build is for people who like to find nice bugs to eat. Well, that came out weird, but you know what I mean. If you do encounter any bugs, please report them here or in PMs, include the crash report if there is one, although if the "full traceback" portion is long that is not always necessary (but sometimes is, so keep it around). Try and keep a save before where the error occurred so it can be checked later. So what's new? - I added in Illyana's "swordplay" sequence, since there's now visuals for it. If you already did the scene where she brought it up, you should be able to activate a redo of it if you are alone in a room together, and if you haven't gotten that scene yet, it should just play out completely the first time. - Illyana has her new doggy style pose and the actions that come with it. FJ stuff might not work this build but I'll get it done by the next, as well as something else I'm working on. - Jean and Emma have a new scene that, without spoiling too much, involves 1. getting both characters, with their stats reasonably well progressed, 2. take a class at some point, 3, be anywhere other than class in the evening and moving around. You should get a message from Emma that kicks it off. There are a few other ways it can happen, but that's the most straightforward. Once you've completed this content once, there should be a new option available when you take classes with Jean and Emma in the room. - Various other bug fixes, including some to how characters are added and removed from the "nearby" pool of characters, to a certain error that could occur during certain parts of dates if you checked a character's location, and various other places. What to look out for? - Obviously any crashes, graphical weirdness, or anything else that you don't think seems right. - Anything where the new scene does not seem to be working properly, or the Doggy style pose is glitchy. - Illyana's new "swordplay" options were surprisingly complicated, so I expect I missed a few things there. Give it a try, see what works and what doesn't. Let me know if anything seems "off." I will probably tweak the animation a bit more. Bugs fixed: - The big one is the "girl not defined" error that kept popping up when having sleepovers. - Some tweaks to outfits that might fix some of the random nudity (sorry) and other costuming issues. Let me know which ones keep happening. Some of them might continue to occur on the same "ingame day" as you last encountered them, but hopefully correct by morning. If you still see something that seems off, tell me either way, but try to also tell whether it was on the same day as the last save or a new day. - Various other typos and bug fixes.

Bug fixes for this build?: - Several things.

Bug fixes for this build?: - Sex activities should no longer be grayed out on most girls. They should still be grayed out on Illyana if the art isn't there for them yet. - Illyana's room had some bugginess that was causing any interactions with it to be a little unpredictable. Should be fixed now, although if you're inside on a save, you might want to at least cycle the room before doing anything complicated (leave and come back, or just chat and exit.) - An error with Storm's doggy pose - An error with Illyana's downward looking expression. - Various other stuff. So that out of the way, what does this version include?: - Illyana is added to the game, she should show up any time after meeting Storm. This version includes her standing sprite and HJ animation, all other sex animations will be coming in future versions. She has relationship scenes, dating, various location-based interactions, basically anything that can be done standing up. - I made an updated version for Rogue's TJ pose, with clothing options and I think better animations. - I added a new option during sex scenes, "Quick Mode," which will skip past most of the explanation dialogues and only play out when something significantly changes between turns. You can choose to keep the menu popping up each turn, or to have it auto-advance until someone orgasms. There is also a "brake" in the bottom left corner if you want to stop that process. This mode can lead to a long pause as the game runs through multiple rounds in a row, let me know what you think. - Maybe something else I forgot I added, let me know if something popped up out of nowhere. - All sorts of bugs fixed from the previous versions, although not all of them. I'll keep working on that. Things to look out for: - Since Illyana is mission some of her animations and sex scenes, let me know if the game tries to access one of these, leading to a crash or a janky placeholder. I tried to lock these out, but may have missed a few. - Let me know if any of her artwork performs in an unexpected way. - Any issues you might have using the Quick Mode, like it not progressing how you would expect. I haven't had any crashes from using it on my end, but it can pause for several seconds, and I am curious how it handles multiple hardware specs. What's still in the future?: - Illyana's remaining sex poses will be added over the next few versions, at the same pace as in previous releases. - The poll-winning Laura/Jubilee scene will get added within this build cycle, probably at some point over the next month. - No new 69 poses this version, but probably two of them for the next to make up for that. Just too much going on this version to delay it. - Various other stuff, we'll see.

This version fixed a pretty noticeable bug from the last build. Ok, as with any new release on here, consider the first few versions very experimental. Do not download this if you just want to enjoy playing the game, this early build is for people who want to find and report bugs. If you encounter any crashes or other issues with the game, please report them either here or direct message me. If there is a crash report, please include it in your report, because those typically make it much easier to track down. If there's not a crash report, then try to let me know the exact steps leading up to the problem as best you can, exact dialogue wording right before/during the problem can help a lot. What does this version include?: - Wanda's Halloween costume (and party scene) and 69 pose - Storm's 69 pose - Emma and Storm's new story scene - You can now access Emma and Storm's story scene without getting caught by Xavier (especially for people who have disabled that), by getting caught having sex in class by either of them. If they notice you doing it, it should queue up the scenes the same as getting caught by Xavier. - Scissoring for female player characters - You can now repeat the Rogue/Kitty scene by starting a "watch you lesbian" scene with them. - Various other bug fixes and minor tweaks New fixes this build: - Fixes an issue with "object has no attribute 'Tag'". - Fixes some "'ViewTrig' is not defined" crashes. - Fixes some issues with Wanda's 69 pose in her Halloween costume - Fixes some places where a character sprite wouldn't appear in the right location - Various other stuff. As for the new Emma and Storm scene, the unlock conditions for it can be a little complicated. First you obviously need to have both girls active in the game, you need to have caught Emma in class to unlock her sexual side, you need to do at least a little stuff with at least one, ideally both of them, and then you need to get caught by Xavier after that (not necessarily with either of them, just in general). And that should cause the event to trigger on an evening later. Since there is a lot to it, and I wanted to get some testing in, I've added a temporary "cheat" button for it, you can find it in the player room menu as "Teal button," and it should let you know what to do next to trigger it. This one is possible to repeat, so feel free to try to do it again (once per day though), and I might add methods for it that don't involve getting caught by Xavier along the way, since some people avoid that.
